The solar powered radio switch mounts on the tank roof and is controlled by two tank level switches. The receiver installs at the pump. When the tank water level falls below the low level float, a signal turns on the pump. When the tank is full, and the high level float signals the pump to turn off the pump.
The transmitter operates on a solar recharged battery. The unit comes complete, ready to install on the tank roof or pipe. The unit requires a sunny, south facing location. AC/DC powered units are available. Other applications include filling storage tanks, pond, reservoirs, low level, or flood alarms. Options include repeaters, which can increase transmitter range up to five miles, temperature alarms, and system controls.
A signal tester is available to determine adequate signal range for your site.
