Our preferred Mission system comes with 8 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, 1 electronic key reader input, 3 outputs, AC transformer and back-up battery. In addition to the 8 digital inputs, all three units have a built in AC failure alarm, low battery alarm and input wiring fault alarm.
Of the 8 digital (dry contact) inputs, up to 3 can be used for pump runtime accumulators. All digital input changes (pump runs or alarms) are instantly relayed to MISSION Control where the real time status can be viewed. The 2 analog inputs have jumper selectable 4-20 mA inputs. Analog alarm thresholds can be set at the web site, and alert transmissions programmed for delivery by fax, email and phone to operators, management – anyone who needs to know and respond.
When personnel present their unique key to the electronic key reader, it can have any or all of three functions:
Logging personnel site entrance and exit times
Putting the unit in service mode to stop false alarms
Acknowledging alarms
